From Students/Parents:

• Name and contact number
• Location/area for tutoring
• Subject and class requirements
• Budget range and preferences
• Any additional requirements mentioned in the form

From Tutors:

• Name and contact information (phone, email)
• Payment details (processed by Razorpay)
• Telegram username and chat ID for verification
• Profile information you provide via our Telegram bot (qualifications, experience, teaching preferences, etc.)

3. How We Use Your Information

Student/Parent Data:

• To verify the authenticity of tutoring requirements
• To share leads with subscribed tutors via our Telegram channel
• To prevent duplicate submissions and spam
• To improve our lead quality and matching

Tutor Data:

• To manage your subscription and billing
• To provide access to our lead distribution channel
• To communicate service updates and announcements
• To provide customer support

4. Data Sharing

Student Contact Information: Student/parent contact details are shared only with tutors who have an active paid subscription. Contact information is NOT publicly visible and is NOT shared with non-subscribers.

Third-Party Services: We use Razorpay for payment processing and Telegram for lead distribution. Your data may be processed by these services according to their respective privacy policies.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

• Student leads are retained for 30 days for duplicate checking, then archived.
• Tutor subscription data is retained for the duration of the subscription plus 12 months.
• Payment records are retained as required by Indian tax laws.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to your personal data
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (subject to legal requirements)
• Withdraw consent for data processing

8. Profile Management

As a subscribed tutor, you can view and update your profile information directly through our Telegram bot using the /profile command.

Editable profile fields include: gender, experience, date of birth, expected fees, teaching mode, subjects, qualifications, classes taught, alternate contact, and addresses.

Note: Your Telegram username cannot be changed through the bot as it is used for account verification. To update your Telegram username, please contact support.
